Given the home’s valley location, maximizing natural light was a key priority. Strategically placed skylights now draw daylight deep into the open-plan living area, creating a bright and inviting shared space. A standout feature of the living room is the striking built-in bookshelf, spanning an entire wall and offering ample storage while adding character to the home.
One of the most unique design elements is the integration of an existing cabbage tree, originally standing where the extension was planned. Rather than removing it, the tree has been beautifully incorporated into the primary bedroom’s design, positioned between the wardrobe and ensuite to create a natural focal point.
