Located in Lower Hutt this two-bedroom house was moved across the site to allow for a wider driveway. The existing sunroom was removed from the front of the house and a new inviting veranda was built. An extension was then added to the back of the house, stepped down from the original floor level. This included a new open plan kitchen, dining and living space. The addition of several large skylights fills the new spaces with daylight and instantly modernised the home. The complete redesign of the house’s internal layout turned it into a four-bedroom house with an ensuite, a bathroom and a separate laundry. The new living space now connects into the garden and provides a great space for entertaining guests.
